Bit of an explanation behind this one. Please read as it is quite important.
I've mentioned on other people's artwork quite often that I wish I knew how to use Photoshop better when I see them dish out masterpieces on said program. I've had CS2 for years but never quite got the hang of it. I never really played with it enough for that matter. And I often mentioned that tutorials make no sense to me, which truthfully they don't. I guess they just weren't explained too well, or at least broken down enough so that I could follow each step.
That is until came to my rescue and provided me with a tutorial that I could follow with no trouble whatsoever. It's thanks to him I have some confidence in using this convoluted program. Really, he explained everything so well that I can't begin to thank him enough. Arigatou Matsu-kun! I appreciate your assistance on this greatly. He gave me plenty of help on shading, highlighting and the like here. It was my first time, so I know it's not really apparent here.
This was an original black and white pic of Ryuu-kun did back in September of 2007 (which is also why he's still called Dragon-kun in the title) during an OC we had together. I sliced it up and saved the image of Ryuu-kun he drew. He said he was going for a Digimon-ish look when he was doing it (that probably explains the leg plate thing down there). Hope you see this too, Draco. ^_^
Looks great. Don't worry about photoshop. It took me some time to get the hang of it. The more you play with the program the better you'll be with it. *nods*

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
