Daddy!

Ah, Father's Day. I'm sure we've all had those times we pictured certain fictional characters as the ideal dad for us. Someone we picture running up to, hugging and saying "Daddy!" to because they represent that wonderful male figure in your life. 

For me, it's a tie between Leomon and Asgore now, but since I've always pictured lions as the ideal dad for so many years, Leomon gets the position (doesn't make Asgore any less a great dad though). Leomon gets the position. And yes, contrary to popular belief, while I've always enjoyed the lion warrior as the burly built beastman he is, I've taken a shine to him being rounder, thanks in no small part to www.furaffinity.net/user/teddy… whose artwork of a tubby Leomon is what set me on that whole path of liking my favorite Digimon with more of a belly on him. So, here's a pic that took me the better part of Saturday to sketch and ink. Since I've had this planned from a week ago, what better way to kick off Father's Day than with a drawing that represents the ideal male in one's life.
